After initially being Wowed by the new look of the replacement bathroom, the gloss soon disappeared as we noticed things that had been poorly fitted and problems quickly arose.The top frame of the door casing had been ripped off and shodily put back via a big visible nail and there are gaps in the silicone all around the door frame.The towel rail pipes were measured incorrectly, so we have one of the pipes bent at an angle to make it fit and in the past 6 months the towel rail itself has started to corrode.The sink they fitted is tiny, more like you would find in a separate WC rather than a bathroom, and is not fit for purpose, which causes water all over the place when trying to have a wash, this has caused the sink cupboard handles to corrode, which I replaced myself and some of the panels to start to 'blow' through water ingress.The shower screen became detatched from the shower base after a matter of days, which they came out to recitify and told me the initial fitter had fitted the securing bar too tightly which caused the silicone to split under pressure.A few months later after returning from holiday, the kitchen ceiling fell through due to a major leak from the shower. After a number of visits they said this was fixed and they patched up the kitchen ceiling, but wouldn't even provide ceiling covering to cover up what they had caused.Probably thankful that they didn't we still to this day occasionally get water leaking from the shower as it drips through the ceiling where they patched it up.The toilet since it was fitted never felt fully secure, and the soft close lid they supplied went faulty after about 6 months.I have re-sicilconed the toilet twice, however last week it came away from the casing fully and started to leak. I called a plumber who came out and said that the toilet had never been fitted correctly, the fitting kit to secure it to the floor was missing (probably thrown away) and the toilet was only siliconed into position.Worse still when he tried to access the back of the toilet to identify where the leak is coming from, all the panels have been internally screwed in place and the top cover of the toilet is wedged under the lip of the sink, so the sink needs to be removed to even gain access to the flush mechanism.So after £3500 and numerous visits from them and other plumbers, plus emails sent to report the issues, I am here with a bathroom where the shower leaks, the toilet leaks, the towel rail is corroding and the sink cupboard panels have blown, it looks like I am goig to have no option other than to have a complete new bathroom fitted, but I definately be avoiding firms like this one.
