The first time I used AXS to purchase gig tickets, I did so with no issues. The second time? Blocked as a bot. I spoke with customer support and credit to them here, they were friendly and unblocked my IP for me (the only reason they get an extra star). But by that point all the tickets were gone due to it being a high demand event. I attempted getting tickets for another high demand concert today. With last time in mind, I used the same device and WiFi. They unblocked me right? I should be fine. How very wrong I was. I waited in a queue for 25 minutes, only to be greeted with a message I was blocked as a suspected bot again. Whatever systems they are using to try and prevent bot activity are not working *at all*. I'm just a regular fan. I purchase 1–4 tickets at a time (my son, mum and nephew have overlapping tastes in music, so the tickets are only for us). I've never resold a ticket in my life. And even if I did, I certainly wouldn't ask for more than face value (I've even emailed my MP begging for laws to stop tickets being sold above face value). However, in both cases where I missed out, due to being blocked as a 'bot', there were immediate tickets available on re-sale sites. The bots/touts had got them, and I, a real fan, did not.Until AXS addresses this issue properly I absolutely cannot recommend them.
