We visited five islands in the Azores and travelled by air between islands. The trip was well designed- the first day on each island was arrival and free time, the second day was touring the island, the third day was free to relax or explore the island further- a nice balance. The tour guides were local and all were very knowledgeable , personable and good drivers. We were unable to book superior hotels due to our late booking but we visited them and I would recommend booking them. Our hotels were fine and well located except for the hotel in Flores which was weak. This islands are beautiful, each one different and charming.A very enjoyable and relaxing trip.
