Lost access to my Azure account due to Microsoft no longer supporting verification codes via non-SMS phone lines, which my identity verification was configured for. Spent a whole day trying to get help to recover my account. Finally got a hold of an employee who sent me a link where I could file a trouble ticket. Filed a trouble ticket and did not get any helpful response (let alone resolution) since I filed it days ago. Pleaded in the ticket for someone to just call me in order to get the issue resolved. Nobody called. It's reprehensible that Microsoft doesn't provide access to live humans for urgent support issues. I can't even login to pay my Azure services bill! I had to migrate my hosting services to Amazon because Microsoft completely locked me out of my account, for no fault of my own, with no way to resolve the problem. It is sickening how much time I wasted on what normally could be resolved with a quick phone call to a real live support person.
