I decided to try it because they had a special offer. 7.95 to try it. I didn't read the fine print that I have to keep it for two months. I don't like the products at all. It's mostly low grade skin care and a few glittery products. I expect more makeup and tools, and higher quality/value. I get other beauty box subscriptions. The difference is huge. It also feels like they know what they are doing. I think they are a scam box. I tried to cancel twice. But they will charge me full rate for the first box, plus shipping ( which I already paid) . They also do not communicate well, intentionally. They require cancellation through email. There is no cancel option on the website. They repeatedly tried to remind me I would be up charged if I try to cancel. Or I can get another box then cancel. It's not good product, so I said fine charge me the full rate. So I can cancel now, I want to be done. After messages back and forth all day, they suddenly stopped responding. Because I wanted to cancel officially. They ghosted me for several days. After so many messages back and forth this was just shameful. They know what I want, I have repeatedly made myself clear. But instead their customer service reps are dragging me through painful conversations, to the point of extreme aggravation. They are definately trying to keep me from cancelling. But not in a legitimate way, instead by ignoring me. Do not ever sign up for Babebox. You have been warned. They won't let me leave. They require a direct email request and long conversation to cancel. They repeatedly tell you why you can't cancel or will be punished for cancelling. The whole thing is set up to make you think you are getting to try something with little risk and easy cancellation if you don't like it. That is absolutely false. I will file a complaint with the BBB. I even paid the extra money for two bonus items that I would never use. I wouldn't buy or use, one item in the whole box. I absolutely do not feel it's value was even close to 100$. Or even 10$. That is why I wanted to cancel. I wouldn't want to cancel if it were worth keeping. It's simply not good products. They also have imitation logos/ certifications. Not the real ones. Every item is from china. Babebox claims to be cruelty free, natural and environmental products. I do not trust or believe that at all now that I have seen what they actually send. Update, I had to contact my bank and block them from taking payments. They wouldn't listen to me. After that I got emails saying they would like to charge me the full rate and honor my cancellation. Now that they are blocked from payment, they want to talk to me again. Plus, on top of that I am now getting reminders to update my billing and add another card so they can send me more boxes. They never quit on their own. You have to stop them at the payment source. This is absolutely a scammer box if ever there was one. They never ever quit. It's been a nightmare. I am genuinely afraid try any new subscription boxes because of Babebox.
