I’m so happy I found Baldylox boutique! Since my cancer diagnosis, bit by bit it took so much from me. My hair was the final part of me that it took. I felt like I had lost my identity and that I didn’t even look like myself anymore. My hair started to grow back but not fully and it continues to fall out, it no longer looked how I would have liked it to and I felt so uncomfortable and unhappy with it so I considered trying wigs but I didn’t know where to start as I didn’t know anyone else that wore wigs. I tried so many different wigs from different companies and some pretty rubbish ones too. They were absolutely awful.I couldn’t find the perfect one for me that would make me feel beautiful or like me again. Also, not knowing anyone else that wore wigs, I watched videos online, I tried using glue and wig tape to secure my wigs down and ended up ripping the hair I did have on my head out trying to take my wig off- it really hurt! I was honestly ready to give up and feel rubbish forever but then I found out about Steph and Baldylox boutique and that’s when everything changed! I went to an in studio consultation and had the pleasure of meeting Steph in studio. It really was like stepping into luxury and it was so exciting. Everything about the experience felt amazing. Steph is such a beautiful girl, she’s so warm and kind. We shared our hair journeys which was really nice. It felt good to talk to someone that really understands how much of an impact hair loss can have on your confidence. She is such a good role model as she shows that you are still you and you are still beautiful even with hair loss. She puts her heart into helping others to feel beautiful and like themselves again. I felt like Steph also really took the time to listen to my individual needs and desires and we ended up customising my perfect wig together. This is such a good feature. After getting my new hair, I finally feel like me again and I’m so happy, I’m embracing wearing wigs and looking forward to trying out some other styles in future! Thank you so much Steph!
