This bank is a complete joke. I had already left Bank of America for my personal accounts because of their terrible service, and my biggest mistake was trusting them again with a business account. It has been a total nightmare.
First of all, their automated phone system is trash. If you don’t press the exact option the machine wants, it literally hangs up on you and tells you to call back later. When you finally get through to a human, you spend 2 or 3 hours being transferred from one department to another, just for them to tell you they can’t solve the problem. It’s a complete lack of respect for people’s time.
The worst part is that I’ve been waiting THREE MONTHS for a check. Every time I call, it’s a different excuse: "wait another 7 days," "now you have to wait 120 days." On top of that, they refuse to accept my new address. They told me that if they send it there and it gets lost, it’s my responsibility. But if they send it somewhere else, I have to be physically present to sign for it. Who has the time to sit at home all day waiting for a document when you have a business to run and a job to do?
Don't waste your time or your sanity with these people. They are incompetent, their service is garbage, and they don't care about playing games with your money. Stay away from Bank of America!
