I’ve been with BofA since 1993 or earlier, and I’ve never dealt with such rude people at any branch. Four different employees confronted me. I was told I needed two forms of photo ID or my phone and an ID. I brought my passport and current driver’s license after I went home a second time to get the other ID that was requested but was then told I needed a phone to get a code—after they’d said two IDs were enough. I believe they could have helped me out at the branch to get a code but was unwilling to help. I’ve had over $225,000 in my accounts before, and that day I deposited $95,000 but wasn’t allowed to withdraw from savings. Frustrated, I went home and did it online. I’d already explained my phone doesn’t get messages and has no internet, and they could’ve helped me using their computer but instead told me to leave. I’m now closing all my accounts—my savings is already moved, and when the $95,000 clears April 3, it’s gone too. Before going, I’d checked the reviews, which were mostly negative, but I thought people were just complaining—now I know otherwise. They also told me my cashier’s check would clear in one day, but now it’s a week, which feels like spite. Worst experience ever. While waiting, I overheard another customer being given the runaround by the same woman, who wouldn’t give her name. They passed me between three people, and she claimed to be the manager. When I asked for a supervisor, she said she was the boss, then a man came saying he was her boss. As I was leaving, yet another employee made rude remarks to me. If anyone is confronted about this, I am certain they will fill you with a bunch of lies. Anyway, you will have another negative review and a protester in front of that branch!
