Everything was good until part of my order was lost in transit. I spent a considerable amount of money on this order, and FedEx lost one piece of it. Okay---understandable. It happens. I contacted them, and they said to wait. A couple days goes by, they filed a claim with FedEx. Over a week goes by....no update. If FedEx hasn't found your package after a week, they lost it. Then the customer service personnel tell me that they will refuse to do anything until FedEx closes their claim.So i'm supposed to wait God knows how long, for the carrier that THEY chose, to refund them. Meanwhile i'm sitting here waiting and waiting for my product that should have been delivered over a week ago. And instead of sending new plates & telling FedEx to return the product to them IF they find it, Barbell Standard refuses to do anything. Oh and on top of that, they implied that i was trying to scam them out of merchandise and were pretty unprofessional in their responses. They can tell FedEx to return the product to the sender IF it is found, which is highly unlikely; but God forbid, i get an extra pair of 25 lb plates. OH NO, THE HORROR! You would a reputable company would send you your product, and deal with the carrier on their end. But no, i get punished as the consumer because FedEx messed up. And in the end, i'm basically told to kick rocks.I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone i know, and will not be purchasing anything from them again.
