I ordered a jacket from Barclay & Bloom and was extremely disappointed with the quality on arrival. The material, construction, and overall finish were far below what was advertised on the website and nowhere near acceptable for the price paid. The item did not match the description and lacked expected design and branding details.When I contacted customer support, I was told returns must be sent back to their warehouse in China at my own expense, with shipping costs quoted at €20–€40 — nearly half the value of the jacket. This was despite the return being due to poor quality and misrepresentation, not a change of mind.Instead of acknowledging the issue, I was offered either to pay the excessive return cost, accept a 10% partial refund and keep the jacket, or pay extra for a replacement. None of these options adequately address receiving an item that is not as described.Overall, the quality, customer service response, and returns process were extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before ordering, particularly given the high return costs and lack of accountability when items fall below advertised standards
