Careful - Barnard Marcus will try to bully you into using their mortgage broker (Connells, which is part of the same group of companies). They said that if we did not, we would lose the house we were trying to buy. The mortgage broker we ended up accepting was horrific, gave us advice which was negligent and was just so horrible to deal with. Absolute racket. They should be investigated by the police.
