Our lovely girl Lily had lived a long and happy life, but at the grand old age of 16 it was her time to go and be with her best friend Dudley who we passed away 2 years ago.I was extremely anxious about the process and spoke to Chris the morning it was happening (as everything had been arranged by Silver Gate Vets) and he was so understanding and kind. He really put my mind at ease about what would happen later that day.The care and compassion Chris showed my family , but more importantly Lily, was outstanding. He wrapped Lily in a lovely warm blanket, placed her favourite teddy under her paw, and picked her up with such care and respect. It made a very difficult time just a little bit easier.We were able to pick up Lily's ashes the following day and Chris had even made a little heart for Dudley as well - what a thoughtful and lovely touch.
