This was my first ever surgery, and getting it in another country was very scary. However i was pleasantly surprised with the care and the facilities as a whole. Victoria was amazing at translating and making things easy to understand, whilst at the same time putting my mind at ease with the ins and outs of the tje operation and aftercare. Truth be told, without her there, i feel like it would have been a much more stressful experience, especially as i had my 1 year old boy and my girlfriend with me. The surgery itself went well and the surgeon dr dagdeviren was professional and despite not speaking much english made me feel i was in good hands.There are aspects i felt could have made the experience better of course. I know we were technically in a hospital but the food was some of the worst iv ever tasted and a choice of any kind would have enabled us to be able to be less hungry for the 2 days we were there. Also i feel that the expectations for what the aftercare would be could have been explained so as to avoid surprises but all in all i would say that it went as well as i had hoped. Very happy with my nose so far. I hope it continues to heal in the same way!
