Bought some cooked octopus for our spanish family meal for xmas eve - described as 900g (with some tolerance allowed!). On unpacking was clearly underweight 630g with no labelling. Sent Basco an email (with a photograph) and they offered a refund for the difference in weight no regard for the fact that it would not cover my requirements for the meal. Emailed again asking for it to be treated as a formal complaint given my dissapointment at their response and highlight the lack of labelling with NO best before dates or anything else (their reason was that it fell off during packing) - at the least they could have sent out another in recompense as I cant eat something that I dont know, at the very least, the best before date. To date I have received NO acknowledgement - nothing. Really poor and clearly not interested - will be going elsewhere for my spanish food and treats
