I purchased a phone subscription with unlimited calls to numbers in the EU zone. This is clearly stated on their website under their promo regarding unlimited calls they write: "Valid to all numbers in Belgium and in the EU zone" which clearly implies that calls within EU are covered by this subscription. This is followed by an exception for "calls abroad" - which is very vague and in my opinion should be interpreted as abroad from within the EU zone. This statement is clearly desgined to mislead, and is very illegal. BASE has hidden tariffs on another webpage, but these are NOT stated on the site of the promo, and their employees in the store did not care to mention this, even though we discussed unlimited calls within EU.BASE - i hope you want to comply with marketing law in the future and not rip off exchange students. You should also hire customer support employees with proper english capapbilities, instead of incompetent people who can only read from hidden webpages, and clearly not understand a word of what i told them. Your customer support representative was only interested in trying to ridicule me, rather than help me with my issue.I would recommend everyone to stay away from this company. They do not care about consumer protections, and they clearly think they are above the rules. They think that their vague and contradictory offers are legal grey zones - but they are not. Misleading marketing is illegal.Hopefully this review will bring your illegal conduct to a sensible employees attention.
