It was politely pointed out that a cut and join would be necessary, increasing the price a little. This was professional common sense. On the day, the installers arrived on the dot and proceeded to get the job done swiftly and expertly. The result is fantastic. It’s just a pity that the firm didn’t include with the receipt a recommendation for specific brands of wood preserver for the after care. Perhaps a tip for the future. All in all - a super job.
