Ordered 2 pairs of shoes around the holiday season last year. All good with updates until Feb 6th. Was sent an email that items are being shipped via UPS and a shipping label was created. No updates since, so I started following up. The first excuse given was that due to Valentine’s flower deliveries, UPS had heavy volume and there are delays. They would now ship it to their warehouse in Miami and then I would get new delivery details. Then, as a second update, another person sends an email that UPS has lost the order, they will file a claim, and my options were to pick 2 ready shoes (none that came even close to what I ordered), have a new pair constructed and wait another three months or take a store credit valid up to 6 months. I responded that if they filed a claim for the full value with UPS, I should be given the full refund of over $300 I was charged. Nope, they refused, saying it wasn’t their fault. I contacted UPS with the shipping label number and was informed the items were never handed to UPS for shipment. This is a complete scam! I have since, reluctantly, sent a note to them asking to construct a new pair. But have no hopes it will ever show up! Extremely disappointed at myself to have fallen for an online scam, which is very skillfully marketed. By the way, one pair was for my son’s high school senior prom and I thought I would gift it to him!
