I spent over 3 hours today for a return trip Antwerp/ Brussels which normally should take only half of the time, due to maintanance work in Brussels. This has at no moment been communicated to passengers, who had the surprise of an alternative route ( and a 20 minute stop without any explanation - there seems to have been no train attendant on board - at Schaerbeek station).Difficult at these conditions to opt for public transport... I'll definitely hire a car next time!
