Having not visited Bella Italian for quite a while, we decided to visit for my wife's birthday and as she was signed up for the email service, received an invite to a free main. We duly visited, and although 30 mins early, we we accommodated to a booth.Approximately 1 hour 5mins later, we received our starters. I enjoyed mine but the mixed olives were shrivelled up and did not have the fresh look.We then had the mains, which although tasty, and maybe naive on my part, the Lasagne was just that, a bowl of Lasagne, I did expect at least some garnish but I did feel a little let down.The wife did enjoy her main.The desserts were fine for what they were.At the beginning of the ordering process, we mentioned to the waitress that we had a free main email and so she said we would sort it out at the end of the visit. We duly expected this to be deducted from the bill, but having paid for the meal, we were on the way home and noticed this was not taken off (the top of the receipt had Ā£0.00 unlock so naturally assumed this was the main.This was not to be.So overall, a. Mediocre experience and a fairly expensive night out for what we had. Would I go again, not really.
