Our table was booked for 6pm, and we placed our drinks order at this time.At 18:02, the starters began to arrive at the table, we had no drinks and two people were still to come. The waitress proceeded to put the food on the table. Regardless of our explanation, people were still to arrive. I quote, "I need to put these down."Meatballs were cooked instead of Arancini, so half of the table had eaten before the correct starters arrived. More haste, less speed, as they say!A team member rudely interrogated a party member about why they had ordered the vegan meatballs and then the calzone. This was her preference, a very odd conversation with no explanation for why he was asking.The main meals arrived. The calzone slipped off the wooden board it was served on. An immediate replacement was given (another party member's meal!); however, we had to wait for another to be cooked. So one member of our party waited 10+ minutes for their calzone.The food was warm, not hot.Desserts arrived at least 40 mins after mains. We were told this was because only one person served desserts in the kitchen. It was tiramisu served in a pot (pre-made, so no prep required). The cheesecake was on a plate with some sauce (minimal prep), and the cookie dough was absolutely not cookie dough. It was a hard cookie (served on a saucer) with a dollop of ice cream.The entire experience was a shambles; this was our Christmas party!We were not asked if we would like to order more drinks at any point. We were clearly an inconvenience. I requested the service charge be removed as the experience was so poor, there was no apology, and I wasn't asked why.
