I bought the largest rebounder (49") for my wife in may, she is small but I knew she would be using it a lot so I got the extra-strong bungies. The rebounder is fantastic, she loves it, great bouncing experience.The bungees started breaking after about 6 months, so I ordered 10 new ones and replaced them-I didn't realize there was a 2 year warranty on those, as well as a 3 year warranty on the mat-more about that below.I replaced those, and then about a month later a strap on the mat itself broke, so I contacted bellicon to warranty the mat.I started over email, but the customer service rep, Sereina Winters, asked if she could give me a call to make sure she had all the details and we could talk and she was fantastic.She started out letting me know that they were going to replace the mat and the bungees both, under warranty, and then she started explaining what likely happened and why the mat failed. I REALLY liked the way she handled this, as she started out telling me that they were honoring their warranty before chatting with me about why it might have failed early. This kept it from sounding like the company was blaming my wife's usage on the failue.She explained that replacing the bungees piecemeal is likely what caused the mat to break (makes sense) and when they need replacement they should be replaced as a set, and that the bungees are wear items made from natural rubber, so it is kind of variable at what rate they fail.I am actually fine with replacing the bungees every few months-my wife does bounce quite a bit and I will just look at it as a few bucks a month to have an awesome rebounder.So awesome rebounder and great customer service.
