I signed a contract with Best Seller Ghostwriting on July 1, 2024, for a book project. They promised to publish the book within 12 weeks (by September 30, 2024) with a 100% money-back guarantee if they failed to deliver or publish. I paid $15,225 upfront. After they missed the deadline, I requested a refund via their 360 portal in October 2024 and gave them an additional 3 months until January 2025 to complete the work. As of June 2, 2025—nearly 9 months past the deadline—they still haven’t delivered a single chapter, and the book isn’t published. Despite my refund requests since October 2024, they refuse to refund my $15,225 as per the contract, only saying they ‘want another chance to make things right.’ I’m concerned this might be deceptive behavior. Has anyone else dealt with them? Any advice?
