I was gifted 2 months membership to the leisure club in my local hotel just before Covid hit. I wasn't able to use them immediately because of lockdown so saved them til things eased. Unfortunately my husband then became ill, then I got Covid and then he got Covid. When we were both recovered I asked if the vouchers would be honoured and was told they would be. Before I could use them another family member contacted Covid so they were still unused. On recovery I phoned to ask if I could still use them and was told someone would call me back=they never did. I phoned them two more times and was promised a call back that never happened. Sadly my husband then passed away. Trying to get myself back on track I visited the hotel to ask them to honour the vouchers and this was refused. My son in law then contacted Best Western and was again refused. I realise it has been a long time but really what would be lost by honouring the original purchase. Very disappointing service!
