Best Western Carlton Blackpool . Booked to stay at The Best Western Carlton Blackpool for a short trip to participate in the Blackpool Pier end to end, sadly due to the huge pollution in the sea the event was cancelled at very short notice. This I would consider a act of god or the water companies inadequacy !! Therefore I would have expected the hotel would have maybe made an exception and refunded the cost of the room I booked, but NO point blank refused to refund or defer the booking. I would never use or recommend this place. Go elsewhere, perhaps to a more accommodating hotel.
