I have been a loyal business traveler with Best Western for many years, staying over 90 nights annually. However, changes for two years ago make it clear that business travelers are no longer valued.Reducing the highest membership level from 60 nights to 25 means that anyone can now reach the top tier, diminishing the benefits for those of us who travel extensively for work. Additionally, the voucher system in some countries has been devalued, forcing guests to pay extra for an evening meal that was previously included.Rather than lowering standards, I would prefer the introduction of a higher elite level for those staying over 60 nights and an increase in the voucher value.Due to these changes, I have chosen to stay elsewhere (from 60+ nights to 5 nights) —at hotels where an evening meal is included, eliminating the need for a downgraded voucher. This is the last time I will raise this issue.
