Several different people at Better Rise called and emailed constantly. When my boss finally decided to see about getting a loan, we filled out their paperwork. Then they said all they needed was bank statements. Then they wanted more bank statements. Then they 'just had a few questions and the underwriter will have an offer in 2 days'. Two days went by, and now they have disappeared. It's going on one month with no response to phone calls or emails. Apparently it was a scam, and I'm worried what they have done with all the information they gathered.
