I'm currently writing this review from WA state while my new radio is on the way to Utah of all places. It would seem that either the US postal service or Better Safe Radio really screwed up (maybe both), but there's more to the story than that. After my being on a waiting list for months for the new KG-UV9G Pro, it has finally started shipping, and I'm somewhere in the line to receive one.Mark from Better Safe Radio knew that I had a trip I desperately wanted the radio in time for, but as of yesterday it became apparent that he was going to come up a few days short of the deadline I had to get the radio in time.Huge bummer, but what do you do?If you're Mark, it turns out you pull out all the stops. With hours to go before my package was to ship out too late to do any good, Mark offered to re-process my order through a series of new transactions and refunds so it could get shipped out not to where I am, but to where I'm going. (You guessed it... Utah.) It was 2AM when Mark finally sent the last email to confirm that all the changes had successfully been made to the order and my little disaster had been averted.I'm sure my order wasn't a particularly large one compared to many of the other transactions that were likely being handled at the same time, but it was important to me, and that made it important to Mark.If that radio turns out to be even half as good as the customer service Better Safe Radio provided, I'll still be one happy camper.
