IF YOU WANT THE TLDR VERSION… DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SITE AND DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY. CONSIDER THIS YOUR WARNING!Since BetWhale wants to continue playing games with all of their customers, I want to be sure that EVERYONE avoids using their platform moving forward. Spreading awareness is key, as I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. This all could have been avoided had I done my due diligence upfront (there are hundreds of negative reviews), so shame on me in that sense. Now, I’ll just educate others.First off, the KYC / verification process is going to take you a full 3 to 5 business days to get approved (another tactic to delay withdrawals). Also, I have read a number of previous reviews where folks have stated that the cards / accounts that they shared in the KYC process were later hit with fraudulent charges. I am not accusing in this sense because it has not happened to me personally. The biggest thing to know is this… THEY WILL DO ANYTHING POSSIBLE TO AVOID PAYING YOU IN A TIMELY MANNER (if at all) and the excuses from their billing team never stop. They also have player tiers that affect your maximum withdrawal amount, and a few of the factors are things such as: “credit score”, “customer’s reputation with BetWhale, as well as other betting sites”, etc., etc. First off, they don’t even have access to your credit score and secondly, they have zero idea as to what your reputation is with other betting sites, nor would it matter. It’s not difficult to come to the conclusion that they’re running a very shady business out of Anjouan. For deposits, they’ll take your money at the snap of a finger… and for withdrawals, well, buckle up! They initially tell you that your maximum withdrawal amount is $2,500, but it’s more than likely that they’ll come back and approve your withdrawal for an amount that’s far less than you requested (such as 1500, 1000, 750, 500, etc.). Their site also states that withdrawals will be approved within 5 full business days. For your first withdrawal, they’ll likely deliver on this 5-day timeline, but don’t be fooled, that’s just to lure you in to make future deposits. After your withdrawal is approved, it then takes 3 full business days to “process your withdrawal” aka receive your funds. So, let’s just say they successfully deliver on these timelines - you’re waiting 5 full business days to get your withdrawal approved (and I promise, they will take the full 5 days or more), and then 3 full business days for the funds to hit your wallet. The earliest you’ll ever receive the funds is 9 to 10+ days (because weekends do not count). Once your first withdrawal is successfully processed, that’s when they really start with their excuses. Once the 5 business day window has surpassed to approve your second withdraw, they will make excuses such as: “an increase in withdrawal requests across the platform”, “please be advised that the withdrawal request will be approved within the next few days”, “the billing team is actively working to complete all pending requests in accordance with our standard procedures”, and the list goes on and on, but it’s all just to buy them more time. By continuing to delay the process in approving and processing withdrawals, there are a few factors to consider: 1. They don’t even have the funds to send and they’re waiting for more customer deposits to roll in so that they can pay out on their withdrawal requests 2. They’re trying to prey on addictive / problem gamblers. By making someone wait for weeks on end, they’re hoping you’ll cancel the withdraw and use the funds and then if you ever want to withdraw down the road, the lengthy withdraw clock starts all over again 3. It’s just a scam altogether and their days are numbered.I have now been waiting for over 2 weeks for a withdrawal to be approved (and then I’ll have to wait for it to be processed on top of that). I have no issues with the timelines they state, but then when things start to drag out beyond their initial promised timeline of 5 business days, it’s easy to read between the lines.I truly feel bad for their customer service / customer support team. They claim that the billing team is a third party, so they have no control over withdrawals and they can’t provide specifics when it comes to withdrawal timelines. They also dont have a phone number for the billing team, and if you ask to speak to a supervisor, that’s not happening either. The customer support/service team has to answer to all of BetWhale’s disgruntled and frustrated customers while the billing team gets the cowardly way out, as they’re not even accessible. If my withdrawals are processed in a more timely and honorable manner moving forward, I’m willing to come back and share a more positive sentiment. They won’t reply to this review because it’s factual. Everyone needs to call them out.
