Bought a pair of school shoes for my son who started Reception in September from Bgreater. I normally buy from Clarkes. They are smart and he has found them very comfortable. I am a bit disappointed though as the velcro on one of the straps has come away from the leather so they now look tatty. I will have to see if I can repair with a glue gun or something before buying another pair. He was only wearing them 3 days a week due to Forest school and PE on other school days. Despite this I will say my son has definitely put the shoes through their paces, being a typical high energy 5 year old, but I had hoped they would have lasted more than 1.5 terms before starting to fall apart. Haven't had this issue with Clarkes shoes before despite them also receiving a bit of a battering. I like the ethos and reported better foot health Bgreater promote, so would buy from them again, since I seem to be a rare person who has had an issue, but I am a bit put off tbh. They aren't cheap shoes.
