From the very start he made me feel comfortable behind the wheel, even when I was nervous, and that really helped me build my confidence as my test got closer.
One of the things that really stands out about David is his patience. No matter how many times I got something wrong or needed to go over something again, he never made me feel rushed or stressed. He just calmly explains things until it clicks, which makes such a difference when you’re learning something as important as driving. Honestly, if everyone had his level of patience, the world would probably be a much better place.
He also has a great sense of humour, which makes lessons really enjoyable. It never feels awkward or tense, and you actually look forward to your lessons instead of worrying about them. At the same time, he knows when to be serious and make sure you’re fully prepared for your test.
David is especially good at teaching manoeuvres and getting you confident driving around Tunbridge Wells. He explains everything clearly and makes sure you understand not just how to do things, but why you’re doing them. That really helped me feel ready for real driving, not just passing the test.
I’ve already recommended him to three of my friends, and they’ve all said how happy they are learning with him too. That just shows how consistently good he is as an instructor.
