Bio Hernia (/Nahom) and Dr Koch are the best...!

I had little knowledge of hernia operations prior to October 2020, but when I checked into it, I was pretty unsettled to find that the only treatment routinely offered in the UK involved use of a plastic mesh. I didn’t want to be carrying plastic in my body forever and that concern was compounded Victoria Derbyshire’s investigation on the BBC, which revealed a much higher incidence of long-term pain related complications, than was suggested by the official stats. Overall, I was pretty despondent about the lack of options available for this condition.So, without much hope, I started searching online to learn more about the condition and the management of it, which is how I stumbled across the BioHernia website and read about its work in relation to mesh-free repair. I watched an interview with Nahom and felt an immediate sense of relief that there was an alternative to mesh after all.From the very start, BioHernia provided a thoroughly professional and responsive service and made all of the arrangements for my trip to Germany. From start to finish, the whole experience has been a huge success.I am sure that each patient’s experience is unique and so my next comment might not apply equally to others, but for me, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that there was no pain whatsoever as I recovered from the operation. Inevitably there was some sensitivity around the site of the incision, but there was absolutely no discomfort within my body at any stage. I am a bit of a coward where pain is concerned and the pain free experience I’ve had, was truly appreciated.Overall, I am extremely pleased I found BioHernia and Dr Andreas Koch and I have absolutely no reservations at all about recommending them and their work to anyone in need.
