At 04:15 AM, I picked up my phone, unlocked it, opened the Bird app, paid for a Bird+ subscription, locked the phone, and put it back exactly where I had left it when I went to bed, all this while fast asleep.Sarcasm aside, I woke up yesterday morning, checked my phone, and was greeted with an email receipt of a Bird+ subscription, the email timestamp was 04:15 AM. I immediately opened a support ticket for an unauthorized charge with all the details.I waited for a full workday (US time) and finally received an email asking me to rate the customer support I had received. The thing is, I received none; no one got back to me, total silence. Apparently I was even assigned a customer support agent called "Doug", well maybe you shouldn't keep "Doug" on your payroll. My bank told me I could dispute the charge, but as I have no evidence, I decided not to pursue this further. If the company was domestic, I would've filed a police report for fraud. Also judging by other people's reviews, credit card frauds seem to be their core business.
