The company was very responsive and helpful when I initially applied for treatment. Originally, I wanted braces, but due to work and cost considerations, I decided to go with aligners instead. However, once they received my payment, I didn't receive much customer care unless I specifically asked for it and they were pretty basic things. You can also only contact via email which is quite slow and takes a long time to get the point across. My aligners didn’t even come with instructions, so I had to guess how to use them and then request an instruction manual. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize I was a teeth grinder while sleeping, which led to breaking many aligners. Just be aware of that. Additionally, when I compared my aligners to those of other people, I noticed the sharp edges and poor quality.Due to my job, I had to wear my aligners for extended periods. Unfortunately, the company didn’t adequately explain the downsides of wearing plastic on your teeth for 22 hours a day. I wasn’t well educated on how the acid from the aligners and carbs could contribute to worse cavities. After 1.2 years of what was supposed to be a 6-month treatment, my dentist advised me to stop wearing the aligners. Also, the aligners didn’t come with retainers; I had to buy those separately. As a result, my teeth have reverted to their original positions, and they’re now in worse shape than before.I wish the company had checked in more regularly to see how things were going. While I could have been more organised and proactive with my treatment if I had the chance to do it again, I would pay triple to have the treatment done in a proper clinic.
