We used a broker who connected us with this company for our move. Unfortunately, the broker made many promises to us, and when these movers arrived, they had other plans in mind. They wanted to charge us for using moving blankets to wrap the furniture, they claimed we had more items (even though we actually had less than the original inventory due to moving things ourselves), and they dropped 5+ pages of legal documents in front me asking me to waive all claims if our items were damaged and saying they do not accept art, despite art being a part of our inventory list with the broker that they also had a copy of. We had also already signed a waiver like this with the broker. With no notice, they suddenly told us the total payment was due in cash, and delivery wouldn't be same day. It's completely sketchy that they want payment via CashApp or Zelle (#1 sign of a scam because they know you won't be able to claw it back). Go with someone legitimate. I spoke with a woman representing the organization who told me it was a "he said/she said" with the broker (even though neither of us could get in touch with the broker), and that she'd let me pay by credit card if I paid the entire cost up front, and we still would not receive same day delivery. She said it was a "risk for them" if we paid via credit card via cash, and I pointed out that she was shifting all the risk to us since we'd be paying in full before the job was completed and sending our furniture away with them. She then said this was too much trouble and she was cancelling the move. The movers literally had to unpack what they had packed. Terrible, awful experience with Michelle Mediavilla and her company.
