Bless Community Support is dedicated to enriching lives through education, well-being, and meaningful connections within Upton, Hemsworth, and surrounding areas of West Yorkshire. Our mission is to reduce isolation and loneliness across all ages, backgrounds, health statuses, and abilities by fostering social engagement, personal development, and community spirit.
We offer Learning Support, helping parents, students, and adults access valuable educational resources, career development, and IT facilities. Our Social Engagement initiatives—including children’s holiday clubs, afternoon tea gatherings for the over 50's, and the Crotchet Group—encourage lasting friendships and strong community bonds. We also promote Environmental Awareness through our childrens gardening and environment projects that inspire sustainable living.
One of our most impactful initiatives is the Memory Friendship Group, a welcoming space for individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Through shared experiences, engaging activities, and heartfelt companionship, we provide comfort and connection for both participants and their families.
From resilience workshops to Macmillan cancer support groups, our diverse Well-Being Programs ensure that every individual can find encouragement and emotional support.
