At first, the platform appeared user-friendly. I engaged with it for about a month, mostly observing. Recently, I found a group dedicated to trading in-game items for a game I was interested in and made a 'I want to buy' post for a specific item. About 15 hours later, I attempted to post another buy-offer for a different item, but it was automatically blocked by the subreddit due to their rules against multiple buy/sell offers within 20 hours. I received a warning, and shortly after, I realized I had been shadowbanned. I reached out to a moderator for assistance, only to be informed that I had no restrictions from them and that the platform itself had issued the shadowban. There is no notification sent for shadowbans, leaving users to figure it out on their own. While the official stance is that this is to combat spammers and bots, it disproportionately affects many new users. I submitted an appeal for the ban, but I learned that moderators may take anywhere from days to months to address it. This situation is unacceptable. I refuse to endure a lengthy wait. A more reasonable review time should be just a few hours, though even that feels excessive. I'm choosing to stop using this platform, and considering the platform's lack of concern for newcomers, I cannot recommend it. The indifference towards users is exactly what the platform has earned from its community.
