Look, this is a good account…but just be aware…I set up this account to squirrel money away so I wouldn’t be tempted to dip in. I had transferred funds using my joint bank account. All was going swimmingly-then I was emailed that I needed to scan my husband’s driver’s licence/passport to confirm his ID. Firstly I don’t understand why-as the Blossom account is set up in my name-not his, secondly, I’m not comfortable providing that information. So I’m told this is for compliance purposes-fair enough-but I’m still not comfortable. So I decided to transfer my small amount of money out and close the account. Easy right? Seems not-due to the fact that my deposits from the joint account were flagged. I assume I will get my money back eventually-but just be aware it’s not as straightforward as you would think.Shame, because I feel like it could be a good product for me.
