I applied for a small consolidation loan at National Bank, despite having a strong payment history where I’ve never missed a payment and often pay more than once a month. I’ve always been financially responsible, yet their process was vague, dismissive, and based on obscure criteria that no one could clearly explain.Even when I escalated my complaint, I was told that the complaints department was only there to “listen,” not to review or reverse the decision — as if I needed therapy instead of fair treatment. This is unacceptable. National Bank should value responsible clients and provide transparency, not condescending and confusing service.
