Two months to sort out a small issue - worst part being issue yet to be sorted out

I placed an order for 6 books with Bookadda on the 16th of June. On the 19th, I receive a mail saying 4 out of the 6 books have been cancelled. Now books getting cancelled due to unavailability is quite a common occurrence especially when the current availability status are not updated by e-retailers regularly on their websites. So did not make big deal out of it. Then on the 1st of July I receive a mail saying that they 'noticed my order has been cancelled' and I quote "we hope it wasn't something we did!". Bloody. Not only do you cancel my orders, you also imply that I cancelled it in the first place! I wrote back to them for an explanation. But no one bothered. So, all right, I thought I would get the other two books in my order at least. I waited till July 15 - almost a month - I didn't receive the books. Then I wrote to them requesting the status of the other two books. Then started this whole 'Support Ticket' opening business! During the course of the next month they opened about TEN, I kid you not, TEN support tickets for the same bloody issue with me demanding them why haven't they refunded only part of my money (for the 4 books) has been refunded when not a single item from my order undelivered and them merrily replying, "we have refunded only Rs.XXX" - Like I didn't know! I checked the status of the remaining two items which had been shipped via one relatively unknown courier company called GMS and the status read 'In Transit' despite the booking date being June 17!
The worst part was they kept closing their bloody tickets even before ensuring my complaint had been resolved! Can't a company of Bookadda's stature with the self-proclamation of 'India's favourite Online Book Store' place a system of checks which tells them if a shipped item has been delivered to their customer?! Beats me! I called their customer service number even today (Aug 8). The number just kept ringing and nobody bothered to answer.
Have shopped a few times with Bookadda before but this one experience has soured every bit of trust I had in this company. An order being cancelled is not an issue, but when you don't even bother to address a simple concern of your customer, it doesn't speak well of you.
Very very long post I agree! But I really had to lay the truth bare and vent my frustrations with 'India's favourite Online Book Store'. If somebody from the company is reading this, hope you do something to shape up your customer service, else it's going to be all downhill.
