I have the smart speaker 500 and it’s rubbish!! Had the same problem for the second time. A white line flashing across the scree. Which according to Bose is an updating issue. I tried several times to update with my laptop and on the speaker it’s self after watching YouTube videos but obviously it dint work both the times. After the first repair I had problem with delivery back as Bose never sent my product to the old address even though I told them I don’t live there anymore. But neway I thought it was sorted but no!!! I had the same problem again so obviously the problem is faulty as I’m unable to update it by myself but they don’t get the point. So as they advised I sent the product back for repair the second time on 21st December 2023 and the product was repaired and posted back to me on 1st February 2024. I was meant to receive it on 6 February 2024 but again BOSE and UPS messed with my address and this time they delivered to a completely wrong location. I contacted BOSE and UPS to find out what’s happening with my parcel and who signed for it as showed it’s been delivered. But both Bose and UPS said it’s been delivered to me at my address and when I asked for proof they only say they can confirm it’s been delivered To me but they don’t really show the actual proof. So I opened investigations with Bose and UPS and the results says the product is delivered to me so case closed and they can’t help further. How frustrating is that as I sent them proof of tracking which clearly shows the product has been delivered to a location half an hour from my home address. And even after that they say it’s delivered to me. And I was still in the process of fighting with customer service every alternate day as it’s their fault for misplacing my product and on 4 March I suddenly received a new tracking number from UPS saying parcel will be delivered and even that was quite difficult as BOSE said they say their records show product was delivered so even tho there is a new tracking number they will not give me the product. After hearing this anyone will loose their mind. And at the end the speaker got delivered to me on 14 March. So this whole process took 3 good months right from what it was sent for repair. Also a question to Bose! If you guys said my product has been delivered, how did I receive it 1 month later? What kind of investigation do you lot even do? Or I guess you’ll don’t even do any investigation and you’ll just lie with the investigation word just to satisfy the customer that you’ll are looking into the case. All are liars and cheaters. I Do Not Recommend Bose and Their Products To Anyone. As you’ll will suffer the same way I did.
