I have owned a pair of quietcomfort 35 series II for a couple of years now and can’t complain at the sound quality at all. I use the headphones when travelling which isn’t very often at all, however on my recent trip to Thailand I noticed some wear around the ear pads which I thought was odd, however after a 12 hour flight I noticed how bad they had got. I tried to contact Bose where I was told the item was out of warranty and they would offer me a discount on a new pair. There is nothing wrong with the sound and would be more than happy with replacement pads especially as my wife’s headphones (exactly the same model) which are older haven’t a mark on them. Poor show from a brand we have been using for years with no issues with other items.
