I ordered a pair of headphones and a case on 29/11/2023 and could see when I ordered that there was a 7 day wait for dispatch. Fair enough I thought, it has been Black Friday. 7/12/23 and no further emails/shipping confirmation, so I went on their website and started a WhatsApp chat. It took about 12 hours but I did get a response and was told it would be a further 1-2 weeks until my order would be sent and I was asked to be patient! 13/12/23 and my patience was wearing thin, as I needed the headphones as they were a Xmas gift. I sent another WhatsApp message and this time got a response within 8 hours telling me the same thing, I’d get an email when my items were sent etc. and I was assured my order would be sent within the next couple of days. I said if the order couldn’t be sent and received in time for Xmas then I wanted to cancel. This request was completely ignored and I got no response. Five days later 18/12/23 I messaged again and got a response within 15 mins! from a very friendly and helpful person who told me my item had been packed and would be sent out within 24 hours. I was sceptical but decided to see what happened. Three hours later, I did indeed receive an email telling me that my order was now with UPS and it has arrived today, 3 days later. The whole process from start to finish wasn’t great. I wish now that I’d just ordered from Argos/Amazon. The trick is to hound customer service over and over again. Some responses are helpful and friendly, others are just almost sarcastic and not helpful at all! 22 days to receive an order that I expected about 10 days ago is poor and in future, I won’t be ordering directly from Bose again. At least my other half will receive his gift on Xmas Day though but not after a bit of a battle!
