We went in family, with my wife and 2 daughters 19 and 21 to the “route of emotions” northern Brazil coast from São Luís to Fortaleza. Amazing from start to finish!We planned this trip very late, I had contacted a few travel agencies to organize it, but most said it was too late to organize but Elena from Boutique Travel Experts managed to organize it. She managed to organize everything in a matter of days, very professional, responsive on WhatsApp, and of course super knowledgeable of the region we wanted to tour.Everything was organized to the perfection, great local guide, special thanks to David (our private guide) who was with us for the whole 9 days. Hotels and activities were amazing and diverse... 4X4 in the desert, Night Safari boating in the Delta, buggies on the Beach, Quad, and so much more.I highly recommend and will ask them to organize my next trip if it is one of the destinations they cover.Thank you for everything!
I have long wanted to return to Brazil, to visit indigenous villages. In the past, this has been difficult and bureaucratic to say the least. My first contact with Elena was to enquire about a stay at the Xingu Lodge on the Upper Rio Xingu. Elena got back to me with the relevant details very quickly. The cost of my idea was brutal for a solo traveller. This led to a different plan, to visit the Tukano and Baniwa people from a base in Sao Gabriel da Cachoeira and to attend an indigenous festival, the Aledia Multiethnica in the Chapada Veadeiros, near Brasilia. These were Elena's ideas and she had the network of guides on the ground to make it all work. I was deeply impressed! This experience was topped and tailed by a stay in Sao Luis to experience the Bumba Mei Boi festival and a flop on the beach in Rio at the end. All perfectly scheduled and organised by ElenaIt's like a jigsaw puzzle that Elena joins together. She is always available for advice and support once you have booked your trip and the arrangements she puts in place really do work on the ground. The different pieces fit together seamlessly thanks to Elena's attention to detail and superior planning skills. I had a great time in "off the beaten track" Brazil and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boutique Travel Experts to help plan and book a trip.
They had a lot of good suggestions for things to do and see in Brazil. Our accommodations were good. The tours in Rio were interesting and good. Our Rio driver was excellent. The airport pickups in Sao Paulo were not quite as expected, but they worked out fine. All in all, Boutique Travel Experts did a nice job.
