Brenda is fantastic! She was instrumental in helping us with establishing a routine for our 5 month old. Our son’s daytime napping has improved drastically after her programme - from being a baby who would only nap on me, he learnt how to fall asleep independently at more less the same times during the day. Before Brenda’s programme our son would wake up few times a night which Brenda managed to transform into a peaceful long sleep from 8 until 6/7 am. Her method is centered around establishing a feeding and napping routine and allowing the baby to learn how to fall asleep without being fed/rocked to sleep. We feel it has been unfairly labelled by some as the „cry it out” method - that’s definitely too dramatic. While it does involve some crying, for our baby it generally meant crying for 10-15 min max before falling asleep at the beginning and now even less so. First few days of implementing her routine are tough but then it gets so much easier for everybody. We would highly recommend Brenda to any parents whose little ones are struggling with any napping/sleeping/feeding issues!

A professional qualified and experienced nanny offering consultancy and advice to parents of newborn babies and children. The advice and support is non judgmental, easy, straight forward, supportive and practical.
After a lifetime of working in a career with babies and children I have a wealth of experience to share. An additional 3 years experience working in a special care baby unit with sick and premature babies and 21 years supporting parents overnight as a night nanny. This experience has enabled me to condence my knowledge and share it with parents who may have become parents for the first time.
The advice, support and practical help in most cases takes place in the parents home. If the parents are overseas the help can be shared in an online meeting or phone call.
Advice is very much a personal approach to the individual child and the uniqueness of that family life. Ethnicity and cultural backgrounds are always taken consideration as many families live overseas and parents come from diverse backgrounds.
Above all I respond well to communication and support each family with the same enthusiasm with my job today as I did the first day I became a trained nursery nurse.See more
