A friend had his number plate cloned and started to receive PCN's from London councils. He got crime reference numbers and a report from DVLA confirming the cloning. It can clearly be seen in the pictures that the can is a different spec to his and when he sent all the info to the councils they cancelled the PCN's. All apart from BRENT COUNCIL that for some reason didn't cancel the charge and instead escalated it and clamped his van, costing him £625. He is also classed as vulnerable person and this is affecting his health and well being.The evidence is irrefutable and BRENT COUNCIL's inept handling of the situation is quite staggering and they will be pursued to refund the money.
