We bought two identical Breville expresso machines (one for us and one for our daughter) one was very good while the other has had issues with the knob for the hot water and steam option. We contacted Breville and sent the second machine in for service (big hassle) and it was returned with exactly the same issue -after calling in they told us the knob is hard to turn because it is a safety feature to keep small children from being able to turn it and get burned! this is a very lame attempt to not take responsibility for a faulty knob -
