I needed to urgently speak with my broker about a claim. Before Brokerlink took them over the brokerage was wonderful - friendly, responsive and caring. Since Brokerlink took over I literally spent hours trying to speak with someone. I called the brokerage, Brokerlink's main number and any other phone number I could find. All I got was that horrible recording telling me how great their customer service is and trying to sell me more policies while I waited and waited to be connected; but never was. Today, I called again but instead of hitting 2 as an existing customer, I hit 1 as a prospective customer. And, what do you know, I got a live person right away. He was able to contact someone who will be calling me back as soon as she's free. (I'm still waiting to see if that happens.) For possible money coming in, they are eager to help. For a potential claim, they're waiting for hell to freeze over first. I'm going to investigate other insurance companies who might actually care about their clients.
