I lost my keys when I was out on a walk and had no other way of accessing my house. I contacted LRS Locksmiths, who had excellent reviews and they put me in touch with BS Security Maintenance Limited. I asked him how much it would cost to get me back into my house, and he told me it would be £69 if the lock was straight forward. I explained it was a Yale lock.He was with me within 30 minutes, which was good, and after looking at the lock he told me it would need drilling, so the cost would now be £145. He asked me if he wanted him to continue. I had no choice, so agreed. Within 20 seconds he was in and then told me it would cost me £549. I was so shocked at this and asked him how he could go from £145 to £549 and he just said that was the cost, and included labour, call out fee, locks, and VAT. If he had told me this before gaining access to my house, I wouldn't have proceeded. When I continued to question him and saw that he didn't have a company number, or business address on his invoice, he got aggressive, pointing his drill at me and telling me he knew where I lived and made me feel very uncomfortable. I have reported him to the Police, but feel very vulnerable now. DO NOT USE.
