Was going to use PODS, U-PACK, or U-Haul’s version of their shipping container for my 2-Bedroom apartment. After getting some price online through some moving quote calculators it seemed reasonable! Then I made the phone call to both PODS and U-Haul regarding their U-BOX and when the moving calculator said $3000 it really meant $4200-$5000… called U-Haul, was told I needed 2-shipping containers, so another moving quote around $4800… looked into movers, and came across Budget Moving Services for their LTL-Shipping services, which just meant I only pay for the exact amount of cubic feet I needed.. and the professional moving cost for their long-distance moving services were flat-rate AND all-inclusive, and came out to $3300. Budget Moving and their entire team were beyond helpful with making sure they were accommodating to all my needs and requirements for the move. They offered full-service moving, and packing. I didn’t have to do anything other than pack my boxes, TV, and slip my mattress into a plastic protector!! Everything met my expectations, and their packing was top-notch. Making sure everything was properly handled, and secured for transport so everything arrived in the same condition. Was 100% an stress-free long distance moving experience from Seattle, Washington to Fort Worth, Texas (needed to drop off some furniture at my sisters house, which they were able to accommodate for me) and then final delivery in Houston, Texas! Using Budget Moving, and their personalized moving and packing nationwide moving services was the best phone-call I had made... Quoting process was easy, crew was friendly & fast.
