First of all my diabetic dog (eating Lean and Tasty with Vet approval), loves this food.
However because I am weighing his food out (weight management), rather than going by number of tins recommended on the tin, I have recently noticed a discrepancy in the amount per tin, which in the two tins opened from a pack of 12, has been 30 grams short per tin exactly. So basically 360 gram rather than 390 gram. I would hate to think that this was a deliberate attempt to deceive the customer, who probably may not notice, or would find that the recommended amount on the tin was suddenly not enough, and would have to feed more. However for a case of 12, that equates to nearly 1 tin of food less.
Is Quality Control not doing its job, or are Butchers just hoping the buyer doesn't notice!
I have contacted Butchers direct for their response.
